World Design Congress à Londres, une dynamique internationale d'échanges et de projets.

L'évènement, qui a réuni 1200 participants au Barbican Center, proposait un programme riche d'inspiration : talks, tables-rondes et workshops collaboratifs sur le thème "Design for Planet".
Le Congrès s'est poursuivi par l'Assemblée Générale au Design Museum.

Ce temps de rencontre a permis d'échanger avec les acteurs de "Frankfort 2026 Design Capital" pour une participation des étudiants de l'Ensaama sur le thème "Design for Democracy".

World Design Congress was hosted by the Design council at the Barbican center, followed by the WDO General Assembly at the Design museum .

Exploring the Design for Planet theme, the event showcased inspirational keynotes, stimulating discussions, dynamic workshops & hands-on activations on design, climate, sustainable AI, fashion, architecture & innovation.

Among the highlights, let us mention Norman Forster's Lessons from a Life in Design, Jane Goodal’s reminder of the importance of Mother Nature, and Thomas Heatherwick’s perspective on ‘Emotion as Function’.

The event was the opportunity to connect with design contacts and WDO members to engage our students and institution to participate in the Frankfurt 2026 World Design Capital (WDC) on the theme of ‘Design for Democracy’.
